New York 2008 Final Schedule

Why New York? Because the "Big Apple" is the center of the universe when it comes to commerce, banks, advertising and especially Web 2.0, 3.0 and beyond . It's the toughest marketplace in the world but still the most liquid and fairest in many respects.

We are in a fast moving business. What is important now may not be important next week. Having the ability to keep up with changes in business is perhaps our single biggest strength. What we do know is we will bring the biggest and the best together once again and the show is sponsored by the top businesses on the net. Together with our partners, we promise a show that continues to be better and more important than the last. Built around networking with the key people that can affect our futures in a very positive way.

The 2008 New York show will have a theme called "Beyond PPC." We will focus on how domainers make the transition from PPC to other sources of revenue. We will encourage those with alternate solutions to present them. Something you are less likely to see at shows run by PPC companies. New York will clearly define the difference between a domain show run by domainers as opposed to a domain show run by a sponsor.

The schedule will be updated once or more weekly until the show: All times and seminars are tentative. Final schedule to be posted on September 12th. Register early as there is NO onsite registration and seating is limited to just 425. We feed you breakfast, lunch and dinner each full day and have it framed with several cocktail parties. All first class food and drink so come hungry. Break bread with folks you can do business with.

The key to the success of TRAFFIC is bringing the biggest and the best together. The quality of the folks that attend are beyond question. That puts the decision maker right there in the middle of a place where his/her decision making abilities get to be recognized and engaged over and over again. The ability to do years worth of business in just a few days. TRAFFIC has created an atmosphere of growth and terrific deal making potential. TRAFFIC is clearly more than a tradeshow or conference. As an event that is by invitation only, TRAFFIC sets a standard that cannot be matched. We know when we ask youto leave the comfort of your homes and your family it better be worth your time and money. That is why TRAFFIC has become such an important part of doing business for those that own domains, buy and sell traffic, have parking and PPC companies, search related companies investors and all the way down to the store on Main Street. TRAFFIC brings the biggest and the best together. It's just that simple. We keep the noise out and the business in.

We create a chemistry that has never been duplicated and we wrap that up with a family approach as opposed to the cold corporate way of doing business. When you get to TRAFFIC, we keep you running, but we also slow you down in a way that allows you to take inventory of where you are and where you are going. Sometimes the most important thing you can do in business is STOP and recalibrate.

To sum it all up......TRAFFIC's greatness is in bringing key people together. It is exclusive no doubt. It isn't open to everyone, nor cheap, as in order to create the level of attendees we have created we must decline some "noise" and we must charge more then what a casual attendee would feel comfortable paying. TRAFFIC isn't for the average domain owner, it's for real professionals, highest integrity and business ethics - the best of the best,. It's a total TREAT for those serious about domain development, traffic and bringing us all to the next level. So while the bar is high to get an invite, it is not out of reach for any serious business person. So don't be intimidated, just be glad you go to a show that cares about the quality and the mix of folks that attend.

Back to basics. A new format in domain buying and selling presented by Rick and Howard will be unveiled in New York. Details will be released in mid August. The "Flat fee" way of selling domains will bring serious and aggressive pricing to really good domains. No more high reserves as there will be a substantial listing fee and that will translate into aggressive market pricing to move a lot of domains in a very short amount of time. Pay to play and watch the market fly!

In addition:

GRAND SLAM AUCTION!! For the first time ever we will have multiple LIVE auctions presented by multiple companies. This will open the marketplace up for the domain industry in an exciting new way in the #1 city in the world for business.

9:30AM Speed Networking....Folks at the show complain about early sessions. Well, if you want to stay ahead of the curve, then guess what? You need to be up EARLY. This is NEW YORK, you don't sleep in and expect to beat the other guy. So this early session is for early players that will go the extra mile .OK, you had your coffee, you are awake and ready to tackle the day, the famous TRAFFIC speed networking event is back by popular demand. Meet dozens of new associates in the shortest amount of time and early at the show so that you can follow up with those you need to during or after the show. Be sure to bring your business cards!! This is worth the price of admission. We will have a seminar someday on "Folks I met at TRAFFIC speed networking events and ended up doing business with."

10:00AM Exhibits open

10:30AM Seminar......A view from the end user. How about those that had a successful web presence and then found a generic domain to further their business? What's the real deal? How much does that domain matter? Rick Schwartz will introduce Brad Geisen of Foreclosure.com and the new owner of Property.com reports from the other side as well as a few other surprises including the history of the Property.com sale plus Kevin Wood who was the person that sold Brad Foreclosure.com. Listen to an end user story and the roll the domain name itself played in their growth and success. Where does it rank them in terms of the industry they service?

11:30AM Seminar .....Meeting of the Chiefs.....CEO's from the top companies in the domain and traffic space discuss where we are at and where we are going. This time with a twist. Usually we hear from the top PPC companies, this time we will hear directly from domainers. This time with a panel that is not scared to speak their minds, challenge the status quo and shake things up. This will be the seminar that sets the direction of the industry for months to come. It's always a frank and controversial discussion about where we are and where we are headed. No question that there are a lot of rumors out there about the future of the domain channel and the relationship we have or don't have with the our partners. Plus, which companies are putting the domain industry at risk? Who are the top abusers and what can we do about it? This is the seminar that will start a revolution of change. Rick Latona, Rick Schwartz, Sahar Sarid, Page Howe, Lonnie Borck, Nat Cohen, Larry Fischer, Elliot Silver and Michael Berkens.

Seems TRAFFIC is really the only pure domain show out there. A domain show run by domainers, for domainers and with domainers interests in the forefront and the New York show will highlight the difference to a sponsor run show at this pivotal point.

1:00PM Lunch Mike Robertson will tell you about some exciting new things from TRAFFIC Down Under. Then Ron Jackson of DNJournal.com takes the podium and will summarize the domain sales for the three quarters of 2008 and tell you about trends in pricing, extensions and valuation.
